Youth Stabbed at Pickering GO Station
A male was stabbed while on a public transit bus at the Pickering GO Station.
On Thursday, May 9, 2024, at approximately 4:20 p.m., members of West Division responded to an assault call at the Pickering GO Station, located at 1322 Bayly Street. A youth was stabbed by another youth during a verbal altercation, while on a Durham Regional Transit bus. The victim was transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was located at the GO Station and taken into custody without incident.
This was an isolated incident and the victim and suspect are known to each other.
A 15-year-old male from Oshawa is charged with: Assault Cause Bodily Harm, and Possess Weapon Dangerous to the Public.
He was released on an Undertaking to his guardian.
